My students enjoy a special moment to share their successes with me, called 'Blow Your Own Trumpet' time. Parents tell me they love it because it boosts their self-esteem. 🎺
What's New?
Alex planning his "hunt for honey badgers". He was so excited to search for them with his friend in his local English park. He told me how he'd learned from Steve Backshall that honey badgers are of one the 60 most deadly animals in the world! I admire your bravery, Alex! 🔎
Krish was drinking a very healthy vitamin drink. He claimed it gave him magical powers and then pretended to read my mind! 🧙
Frazer creating a fictional zoo with fictional customers. He imagined them all drinking coffee and being sick! I asked him why they were ill and he said "they don't like coffee, but that's all the zoo had." 🤣
It's Friday and the sun's out! Time for a joke, I think 🙃
Once we do what we love, does it feel like work? Of course not! That's why it's important to me to build each learner's lessons around topics that they have a passion for.
Before I tearfully press 'End Meeting' for the last time before Christmas, I just wanted to say "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night."
It's Nativity time again! Some children get to be Mary or Joseph and others... well...
