Something for the older kids 🎮

Funny how a teenager can spend hours glued to their PlayStation, dreaming up characters and inventing ways to beat the next level... but ask them to write a story for school, and suddenly every single idea has done a runner!

It was my student Louie's brilliant Fortnite sonnet that gave me the brainwave. He clearly had loads to say when it came to something he loved, so I wondered what else teenagers might enjoy writing about.

Hmm... how about bashing out a YouTube script, storyboarding a Netflix-style blockbuster, or creating a whole world around their favourite FIFA footballer? Now we're talking!

So, what would get your teenager excited about writing?
