Louie is Writer of the Week!

Louie, from Storrington, really rose to the challenge this week. He had a clever idea: what if he tried a trickier form of poem and aimed to win a national poetry competition?

With a sprinkle of rhyme, and personification, he very quickly went from poetry 'noob' to poetry pro!

Here's the opening quatrain of his sonnet, which more than earned him Writer of the Week:

On his screen, the bright pixels dance and gleam.
As majestic as a sparkling disco ball.
Only at 13, he chases the big dream.
Thinking about Fortnite while he's at school.
