Introducing the 'I Can' Jar

I had an idea at Christmas. I would find a way that students can look back and see their achievements and progress.

"I know," I thought, "I'll give them all a little jar to fill up when they have learning to be proud of."

Then I had a second idea. Instead of writing these on paper, I could use raffle tickets. Then we could turn it into a fun game too.

And there's a prize! This half-term, if I pick their number out of a hat, they'll win a book of their choice.

It's great to see how proud they are to show achievements to their family. One student even talks about it in between the lessons!

It's safe to say, I'll be bring these jars back next half-term too!
